I was walking through this park in New York enjoying the spring sunshine and noticed this group of fellows playing chess. I know very little about the game of chess but what really fascinated me was the behaviour of the old guy with the stick. Away from the table he was probably his opponents best mate, but faced with the possibility of 'check mate', friendship was forgotten. He almost got up from the table and did a jig afterwards!
